A. Recruitment and Selection
- Placement
- Reviews the manpower requisitions to ensure validity of job opening.
- Conceptualizes and posts job advertisements to newspapers and on-line job posting firms.
- Sources prospective applicants through referrals, on-line and newspaper job posting, active file and manpower agencies.
- Filters the applicants through their application documents.
- Sets aside the other application for future reference.
2. Selection
- Schedules the applicants for preliminary interviews.
- Conducts initial interview and prepares an evaluation summary and HR recommendation.
- Administers the battery of psychological tests and prepares psychological profile/evaluation of qualified applicants.
- Arranges interview schedule between the requesting unit and the short- listed candidates.
- Performs background investigation to the school, former employers and community of short-listed applicants.
- Communicates the hiring decision to concerned applicants.
3. Hiring
- Ensures that applicants accepted for employment comply with pre-employment requirements.
- Prepare the Employment Contract of the hired applicant.
- Conducts Company Orientation to newly hired employees.
- Issues to the new employee his/her tool of trade.
B. Employee Relations and Policy Implementation
- Promotes good relations with employees by listening to their concerns and issues and suggests solutions in a manner beneficial to both management and employees.
- Monitors, reviews and evaluates functional policies, guidelines and procedures involving Human Resources.
- Recommends improvements and/or update on said policies to meet employee and operational needs.
- Drafts correspondences concerning Human Resources/General Affairs and endorse them for the approval of HR and GA Manager.
- Ensures that HR Policies are properly disseminated to all employees concern.
- Assures the OSPI’s conformity to the Head Office mandates concerning Compliance Programs, Corporate Social Responsibility and E-learning.
- Researched for new HR systems and procedures that might be of help to the Company.
- At times may acts as a Committee Head during corporate events such as: National and Mid-Year Conference, Christmas Party and other company events.
- Conducts house/hospital visits to employees as the need arises.
- Monitors the tenure of each employees
- Maintains and updates the HRIS database.
- Performs other duties that the superior may assign from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree major in Human Resources Management, Psychology (is preferred).
- Required language(s) and Dialect: English and Filipino
- Has above proficiency in English
- Can deal with different types of person and can adapt well in changes.
- At least 4 solid year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Willing to do multitasking and willing to render overtime and do fieldwork if needed
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet
