Job Description: Serve as the subject matter expert for the pre-installation assessment of instruments and assay
integration processes and needs at the customer sites. Assesses customer personnel training
needs and partners with pre-installation team members and colleagues in the service
organizations to create training and smooth transition to implementation plans.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement pre-installation assessment of equipment and assay integration process.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system
- Lead multi-site/multi-instrument integrations for instruments and reagents into
customer sites/laboratories; including new product launch (NPL) products
- Plan the onsite integration process. Work with implementation project managers as
technical lead to execute project plan across customer systems.
- Educate and conduct customer personnel equipment training in the proper usage of the
equipment.
- Maintain and develop technical competence on instruments assigned as well as job-
related tools and processes.
- Recognizes and resolves technical problems at customer sites
- Support Medical Technologies with product and technical information
- Acts as the subject matter expert when it comes to product and technical knowledge
- Manage the integration process to meet customer expectations and timeline.
- Maintain close relationships with accounts, and ensure their requirements are being met
by the company’s products.
- Recognizes and communicates product issues and potential improvements to others in
the organization in a timely and effective manner.
- Follow defined TAS work processes for all aspects of job; including integration
procedures; complaint documentation; time documentation; activity documentation; and
TOR documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Electronics or Medical.
- 3 year of experience in laboratory environment, field service, technical call center, or
Diagnostics products.
- Lab science/med tech background preferred.
